d. Restart your server while pressing and holding the Recovery button on the back of the
server.
Note: This may require 2 people to perform.
e. Continue to hold the Recovery button until “WINDOWS IS LOADING FILES,” then release the
Recovery button, leaving the USB flash drive connected to the WD Sentinel server.
The monitor displays “RECOVERY INITIALIZING.”
f. When the monitor connected to your server displays “RECOVERY STARTED,” return to your
computer and click Next. This connects the server to your computer.
10. Click Next.
11. Select the option you’d like to use to restore your server.
